Purpose: Most of the acromegaly cases are due to agrowth hormone-secreting pituitary adenomas of which immunohistochemical subtype seperated as sparsely granulated adenoma (SGA) and densely granulated adenoma (DGA). SGA’s were reported to have more aggressive clinical course and therapy resistance.
